RedBull Skygate was a unique MTB event held on Tianmen Mountain's famous 999 steps. Featuring the worlds top MTB Slopestyle Riders and DownHill racers ! Held over 2 days Saturday & Sunday open public spectating and LIVE streamed on Chinese TV .
CHAOYANG tire sponsored riders Bernardo Cruz and Stefano Dolphin took part in this race together with 12 riders from other countries.
Reed Boggs and DJ Brandt took photo with their names in front of public media.
Don’t be fooled into thinking this is the same as your local stair set, the Skygate course is near vertical.
Bernardo got 12th and Stefano got 2nd during the draw.
Best Trick started at middle of the full track. All the riders needed to go pass the two curved track to adjust their status and then the straight down stairs to speed up before the first jump.
Most amazing part was the final jump. Riders could try their best tricks to the judging panel.
Nicholi Rogatkin gave high fives to the people.
And congratulations to Nicholi Rogatkin's 1st place of the best trick. 2nd came to Reed Boggs and 3rd belonged to Adlof Silva.
DH race started at middle of the whole track. Riders needed to get full gas at the starting line till the end. Victory belonged to the fastest one!
