Muddy and technical track marked the opening of the CHAOYANG Brazil Enduro Series 2017.
The small city Santo Antonio do Pinhal of São Paulo held the opening stage of the Chaoyang Brasil Enduro Series 2017 on March 18 and 19. Considered one of the main climatic resorts of the state, the climate and the temperature of Santo Antonio do Pinhal gave an additional seasoning to the open of Chaoyang BES. Athletes from ten different states had to face tight, technical and slippery cornering to finish the race.
The organization decided to raise the level of the specials tracks and prepared four technical tracks for the opening of the series. "We listened to the athletes and decided to make special tracks more technical here in Santo Antonio do Pinhal. We were able to mount a course with a total of 45 km, inserting the four specials, and the special two were the longest and technical. Another nice point was that we could make two stages with very close arrival at HQ, thus facilitating public access and family present, " said Theo Duarte, who organized the Chaoyang BES. Altogether eleven categories raced on a rainy Sunday. In the fastest category, Elite PRO, the 1st place on the podium was CHAOYANG athlete Wallace Miranda (Chaoyang / Fox Head Brazil / Dopamina). The 2nd place was with Thiago Verlardi (Race Mountains) and the 3rd place went to Diego Knob Neumann (Santa Cruz / Petropolis Enduro Team / Malanaria Zan). The second stage of the Chaoyang Brasil Enduro Series is scheduled on May 20 and 21 in the state of Minas Gerais.
